Event Description
Discovery Session - First Australians

The origins of the first Australians are entangled with the wider debate regarding the origins of all modern humans. It is thought the first wave of humans to come to Australia arrived around 70,000 years ago and could have crossed the water from Timor, when the sea level was low.

In this talk, Richard Offen will discuss some of the evidence and chart some of the history of the Aboriginal people of Western Australia, who today represent the oldest surviving culture on the planet.

Cost $5.00. Book and pay online.

For further information call 9400 4751.

The presentation will run for approximately one hour, and refreshments are provided.
