Discovery Session - Skyborn Blue Duo

Join us as we cap off our Joondalup 25 years celebration with the eclectic melodies of Skyborn Blue, where Blues, Jazz, Pop, and Rock converge in a soulful fusion. This duo, known for their creativity and prolific output, have recently crafted music for Emi production music, promising an unforgettable night of music and memories.

Chelsea J & Trent-Jean

A vibrant musical duo, with keys, guitar, harmonica and 2 highly talented and dynamic voices with a large repertoire from the 1920’s to today.

Chelsea’s vocals have been compared to the likes of Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin and Eva Cassidy. With heart and soul dynamics, she delivers the songs with perfection and justice.

Trent-Jeans voice and music has been compared to Coldplay, Jeff Buckley and INXS. Charismatic, confident and heart warming. 

Chelsea J Gibson was seen on ‘The Voice’, and picked up by Boy George to play harmonica with him and Culture Club. They have performed together at The Perth Arena, and some distinguished private functions. Chelsea J is also known as an Australian Idol finalist, an Australasian singing champion, and one of Perth’s top entertainers and songwriters. She has performed in various acts/bands, played in big arenas, private functions, mine-sites, festivals, and flown nationally and internationally. Chelsea has supported Black Eyed Peas, Cruel Sea, Jimmy Barnes, Leo Sayer, Jose Feliciano and Air Supply. She performed at Oz Rock two years in a row, supporting Australia’s finest rock acts such as Diesel, Wendy Matthews, Jimmy Barnes. Having performed around the world in various musical acts and worked with top producers, she has completed her own original album with tracks available on all music platforms such as Spotify, iTunes.

She is a teacher of voice, piano, theory of music, harmonica, drums and musical theatre. For the past 20 years, she has taught privately and at various schools including WMPA, APAN and Joondalup Entertainers Theatre School.

Trent-Jean
For over a decade Trent-Jean has been captivating audiences with his ever-evolving visionary sound and has established himself as a local indie-rock phenomenon. 

From being the youngest ever WAAPA’s Music Artist student, gracing X-Factor stages, singing at Football Stadiums, performing with Australia’s number 1 Wedding duo, flown across Europe for representation, and just recently off a 5 month performance contract on the Caribbean ocean on American Cruise line Royal Caribbean’s almost 10,000 capacity mega yacht ‘Oasis of The Seas’. 

In 2022, Trent-Jean's career soared to new heights with the release of 'HIGH3R' taking out first place in the USA Songwriting Competition in the Rock/Alternative category, and first place in the International Songwriting Awards in the Rock category.

Trent-Jean is a seasoned performer and artist that always rises for the occasion, and beyond.
