Djeran Experience at Lake Joondalup

Experience Lake Joondalup in the Noongar season of Djeran.

This experience is packed with opportunities to connect and immerse yourself in Noongar culture. You will get to learn about the land, waterways, plants and animals of Yellagonga Regional Park from your knowledgeable Noongar guides.

This experience includes a walking tour, which will be a gentle stroll around a section of Lake Joondalup with plenty of stops along the way to share history, music, stories and information about the waterways, local flora and fauna, tools and artefacts with you. The tour follows an accessible path for those using mobility devices.

The event commences and ends at Neil Hawkins Park, which has accessible parking and toilet facilities.

Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking and bring your hat, water bottle and sunscreen. Also feel free to bring your camera and binoculars along.
