Discovery Outbound - Aboriginal Experience

City of Joondalup Libraries Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

Discover the culture of the Noongar people of WA’s southwest at Yanchep National Park, including their seasonal movements, language and how knowledge is passed from generation to generation. See tools such as spears and boomerangs, a didgeridoo demonstration and discover the significance of plants and animals to Noongar people. 

Bus departs from Whitford Library at 9.30am, returning 2pm.  

Refreshments available for purchase at venue. 

Bring comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and water bottles.

Adult $15
Concession (City of Joondalup residents only) $8

Notes:

Adult tickets are available to any adults aged 50 and older. Only City of Joondalup residents who hold a valid WA Seniors, Commonwealth Seniors Health or Pensioner Concession card may purchase Concession tickets.

Cancellations and Refunds:

A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
