City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.
Join photographer Michael Pelusey on a photography walk around Herdsman Lake, snapping pictures of birdlife, scenery and flora.
This event is open to people with any photography skill level and will include camera and smartphone photography tips. Bring your own camera or mobile device to take pictures (and ensure batteries are fully charged).
Refreshments can be bought at Twitchers Coffee until 12.30pm or bring your own. There will also be an opportunity to explore the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre’s wildlife enclosures, interactive displays and gift shop.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, sun and rain protection and bring water bottles.
Bus departs from Whitford Library at 9.30am, arriving by 10.15am, and returning by 1.30pm.
Ticket price includes transport and entry to the discovery centre.

Notes:
Adult tickets are available to any adults aged 50 and older. Only City of Joondalup residents who hold a valid WA Seniors, Commonwealth Seniors Health or Pensioner Concession card may purchase Concession tickets.

Cancellations and Refunds:
A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
