Best of the Best – Friday, 5.30pm  Duration 45 mins 

Experience the Best of the Best as our experienced Wine Judges take you through each of the Festivale Award Classes and the winning wines.  Discuss the process of judging and making an Award Winning Wine.  This is a perennially popular class that tastes the winning wines from the Festivale Wine Awards. 

 Wine Tasting 101 – Saturday, 1pm  Duration 45 mins 

Tips and tricks for getting the best out of your wine tasting experience.  Learn the fundamentals of wine tasting and be equipped to tantalise your taste buds at the Festivale Wine Stallholders and beyond. 

 Festivale Whites – Saturday, 3pm Duration 45 mins 

Discuss the complexities and characters of an exciting selection of white wines from some of Tasmania’s best wineries and listen to the producers as they share their passion for these unique wines. 

 A Bubbly Celebration – Saturday, 5pm Duration 45 mins 

What better way to celebrate Festivale than with a glass of Tassie Bubbles!   
Enjoy conversations with winemakers and experience the flavours and aromas of each of the different bubbles and learn why Tasmanian bubbles are taking on the world’s best.   

Festivale Reds, Tasmanian Reds Unpacked – Sunday, 12.30pm    
Duration 45 mins 

Explore the effect of the tannins, feel the texture as you taste the red wines from around our Island.  Chat to the wine makers about the differing structures as you use your senses to determine your favourite taste. 

 Our World of Whisky – Sunday, 2.30pm Duration 45 mins 

Tasmanian Whisky is taking its place on the world stage.  Join our panel to discuss why.  Delve into the intricacies of the whisky making process and how different food pairing can enhance the flavours.
