Capturing 360° Perspectives with Jessie Hughes

Explore the creative potential of 360° cameras in this filmmaking workshop with a difference! Capturing a 360° perspective, you will collaboratively produce short films to express what the world looks like from your own unique point of view.
The 360° films created in these workshops will be showcased in the Story Lab Arcade from Saturday 30 December to Monday 22 January.
Workshops are fully supervised, with all equipment and materials supplied. Different age groups and learning styles are catered for by our highly experienced facilitators.
About the presenter: Jessie Hughes is an Australian new media artist, with strengths in creative problem solving and being recklessly loud. She has developed innovative media works for the likes of Oculus, Adobe and IAC Astronomical. Jessie was named one of Australia’s Future Changers in 2016 for her commitment to exploring digital innovation for positive social influence. Her VR and new media works have been exhibited globally, most notably at SXSW, Sundance Film Festival and the Tate Gallery of London.
