Forgacs Marine and Defence is a fast growing, agile company that has a rich history in supporting the Australian Defence Force. Whilst it is not particularly well known in WA, Forgacs has been involved in many of the major naval projects over the past 30+ years including Collins class submarines, Anzac Frigates and Air Warfare Destroyers.

They have now committed to growing a significant presence here in Western Australia.

Supported by the resources of their parent company, Civmec, they are investing over $80m in world leading shipbuilding and maintenance facilities at the Australian Marine Complex. They are the only company in Australia currently investing in shipbuilding infrastructure.

Forgacs is partnered with ASC Shipbuilding to provide in-country shipbuilding capability to two of the three Offshore Patrol Vessel designers (Damen and Luerssen).
