Funny Tails

In the first show of its kind, Funny Tails will see brave comedians take on one of theatre’s greatest challenges; working with animals. In the simplest of terms, this show is improv with pets; think Whose Feline is it Anyway meets Thank Dog You’re Here. 

Seasoned improvisers and special guest comedians will play hilarious improv games and tell twisted stories with the help of adorable animals from Pets Haven, a purpose built set and props, and suggestions from the audience.

Pets Haven Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation doing amazing work rescuing and re-homing orphan cats and dogs who would otherwise have no future. Shelter workers will hand-pick gorgeous animals to bring to these shows, ensuring they are the best fit to meet the challenge of the theatre.

There’s no other show like it in the world, and it is making global debut at the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
