Event Description

Belinda Cox of Djirrily Dreaming is a Kangeang /Bibblemum Noongar woman (Yorga) practiced in the ways of traditional cultural medicine plants and natural remedies. At this event she will take us on a guided walk through the Malvolio bushland, covering the following:



  • Introduction to Noongar people, protocols and practices

  • A day in the life of a Noongar family

  • Bush medicinal plants

  • Spear throwing and Noongar games

  • Bush tucker morning tea


What to bring:



  • Full watter bottle 

  • Long pants/trouses 

  • Enclosed footwear 

  • Hat and sun protection (sunscreen)

  • Wet weather gear (raincoat) 


Meeting location: South of Elinor Place, Coolbellup in the Malvolio Bushland


Parking: Along Malvolio road verge and Elinor Place verge. Please be mindful of traffic when crossing roads.
