HEAPS GOOD FRIENDS are stoked to announce they’re hitting the road for a national tour (yes, even Perth!) across March and April in support of their forthcoming debut EP Hug Me. The Hug Me EP features their new disco banger ‘I Could Eat a Full Packet of Yo Yo’s’, the widely loved singles ‘Let’s Hug Longer’ and ‘Olympic Sneakers’ and will be out on March 2 through the band’s own label, distributed by Kobalt/AWAL.

Premiered on triple j Good Nights last month, ‘I Could Eat a Full Packet of Yo Yos’ has been having quite the effect on fans wide and far. Playlist adds on FBi Radio and triple j Unearthed, inclusions in Best Tracks of the Week on Semplesize, and inYEWTH Magazine’s Best Singles of November, with reviews in Beat Magazine, The Soundcheck and Pilerats, who said Heaps Good Friends are “very quickly becoming a national treasure”, describing the single as “upbeat, energetic, hyperactive, a bit all over the shop and most importantly fucking fun.”
