- Details
Standing amongst the UNESCO Heritage-listed buildings, students will learn about the geo-political forces that significantly impacted the world during the 18th and 19th Centuries. Our education guides will discuss how the financial and social pressures, wars and independence shaped the decisions of those in authority to join the race to colonise- resulting in the colonisation of Australia. Students will investigate how the history of Sydney is reflected in the various places and buildings on Cockatoo Island. Content within the education program includes facts, stories and personal histories uncovered from archival records.
