Event Description
Hockey Dad

This year has seen Hockey Dad spend more time overseas than here in Australia, with a US run around SXSW and a UK/European tour just completed, they are once again about to hop across the Pacific for a full US/Canadian tour in support of their debut album 'Boronia' which is released worldwide on August 12th. Zach & Billy like nothing more than gracing Australian stages though, so they are really psyched to announce their first Australian tour this year will be taking place in September & October.

Described by Consequence Of Sound as "one of the best bands at this years SXSW" the duo has built themselves an incredible live reputation on the back of consistent touring in support of their ep release 'Dreamin' over the last two years. In late 2015 they took some time out of a busy live schedule to record their debut album with Tom Iansek(Big Scary/#1 Dads) in Melbourne, before mixing it with Wade Keighran(The Scare, Wolf & Cub), the result is 'Boronia'.

The album features eleven tracks of the Hockey Dad sound we've come to know and love, featuring earlier tracks 'I Need A Woman' and 'Can't Have Them' alongside their recently released singles 'So Tired' and 'Jump The Gun'. Hockey Dad are now set to bring 'Boronia' to you in the live format for their first and only national tour of 2016:
