School Holiday Program
 
Each session has a different theme.
 
Make a Ceramic Animal / Figure
 
Examples will be shown and then everyone will decide what they would like to make and create a design. You will be shown how to use the clay to turn into your chosen design.
 
Your piece will then be dried out for at least 2 weeks and bisque fired in the kiln. The next step is to have a clear glaze added and be kiln fired a further time. It will be ready to collect within approx 8 weeks.
 
At all holiday sessions at Hazy Tales studio you have the option to book the parent or guardian in to create something as well. This works great if your child ony requires a small amount of help from you and means you can get creative with your own creations and share a special time together. If you dont want to take part or stay you may also drop off and collect later.
 
2 hours includes clay, glazes and kiln firing.
 
Bring an art smock & a sketch book to draw your ideas (not essential, paper will also be provided).
