Why and How your business needs to start measuring your carbon emissions

Projects are increasingly imposing climate change objectives on their supply chain. To enable your business to be successful, your carbon emissions reduction strategies will become ever more critical.

Dr Vanessa Rauland is an award-winning innovator, thought leader and social impact entrepreneur who is leading the change towards a better future. After completing her PhD in the field of decarbonising cities and working as an academic for over 10 years in the field of climate policy and decarbonisation, she founded ClimateClever, a data-driven, climate-tech business that helps businesses and communities to accurately measure and reduce their carbon footprint and save money. She is passionate about impact-driven businesses and is a Founding Board Director and Co-Chair of WA Social Enterprise Council (WASEC), which aims to grow this sector in WA.

Member tickets refer to CCIWA Members, not subscribers to ICNWA.

Project Owners list their projects with the Industry Capability Network (ICN). These include major resources, infrastructure, and renewable projects among others. ICN helps bring Australian suppliers and project owners together by giving exclusive access to our powerful online database and our extensive network of consultants.

At least 25% of companies that were awarded through ICNWA were not on the project teams' lists. Even if your company is already known to the project, so are a number of your competitors. By submitting an Expression of Interest on ICN Gateway which most of your competitors are also doing, you will be put in front of the contracts and procurement team to further increase your chances of winning work. By not submitting, you may be putting yourselves at a disadvantage.
