Asset Mapping is a positive-focused way of celebrating community resources and connecting individuals, organisations and spaces for collaboration, empowerment and support. We plan to gather with the purpose of identifying opportunities for collaboration and other linkages to enhance, develop and sustain positive community change.
The workshop will be facilitated by the inspirational social capitalist and enthusiast Peter Kenyon OAM, Director Bank of Ideas. Peter is a pioneer in asset-based community development and has worked globally in this space.
Intergenerational Approaches
This workshop will include a presentation on the intergenerational initiatives and approaches which may be relevant to some attendees. Intergenerational programs can have the potential to improve the well-being of older adults, reduce stigma and support youth development.
