Event Description

To celebrate Biodiversity Month, the City of Joondalup is proud to unveil a new mini mural trail through the City Centre that features local fauna.

Each of the eight murals depicts a specific animal in a postage stamp-style frame, with QR code for more information and map to follow.

This interactive experience combines digital technology with the physical artworks to educate residents and visitors alike on some of the unique biodiverse species that call Joondalup home.

Join us on a guided tour to hear from Western Australian artist Jack Bromell.

You will journey through Central Park Bushland and view the native wildflowers and wildlife on display during Djilba. Jack will uncover the incredible biodiversity of the City and the inspiration, creative techniques  and collaborative process that went into producing these murals.

Please arrive at 10.00am for a 10.10am start. Tour is approximately one hour long.

Attendees will take away a complimentary Uptown Joondalup keep cup, and a voucher towards a coffee, or some brunch, after the tour in the City Centre.

Please email [email protected] if you would like to arrange a separate group tour for your organisation.

This is one of many events the City has to offer this Biodiversity Month. Visit the City's website for more details.
