Cyber Week 2022 Joondalup Business Forum - Growing the cyber security sector through a stronger export market
As part of Australian Cyber Week 2022, the City of Joondalup together with AustCyber and the WA AustCyber Innovation Hub are delighted to invite you to a special free edition of the Joondalup Business Forum on Wednesday 16 November 2022 (breakfast included).
For Cyber Week 2022, AustCyber is releasing its fourth Sector Competitiveness Plan (SCP). The SCP has provided Industry and government with insights that capture the opportunity to improve Australia’s performance by informing policy decisions from government and industry and academia.
Cyber Week 2022 is built around AustCyber’s signature Sector Competitiveness Plan. Each event will be a deep dive into the growth of Australia's cyber ecosystem drawn from the insights in the SCP. The Joondalup Business Forum will focus on building a sustainable cyber security sector through a stronger export market, built on international partnerships and alliances.
Our sovereign cyber capability is reliant on not only access to our domestic market, but also increased access to a global export market. How can we leverage our international partnerships and alliances to enable this?
Ongoing support for the sector is critical, as Australia’s cyber sector acts as the frontline against increasingly frequent and severe cyber attacks.
At this Forum Jason Murrell, Group Executive, AustCyber, will share key findings from the 2022 Sector Competitiveness Plan. With cyber security front of mind for individuals and organisations alike, our panel of experts from government, education and industry will provide insight into how Australia can cement its place in the globally competitive cyber security sector.
The City of Joondalup is proud to support the WA AustCyber Innovation Hub as we work together to grow and diversify the cyber and digital innovation economy.
