Kids Bee School - Make A Beeswax Candle

Kids can learn about bees and beeswax from a real beekeeper and then make their very own wax rolled candle to take home, using wax foundation, a pre-made wick, and a hair dryer to warm the wax for rolling.

This event is hosted by Urban Hum who produces honey in the heart of Newcastle. They are dedicated to bringing vitality and diversity into the suburban environment, reducing food miles and connecting you to your food source.

Class is limited to 15 people. Suitable for children 6 years and over

Time 11.00am - 12.00pm

Cost: $10 includes all materials to make a beeswax rolled candle
