CALLING ALL FUNKFREAKS, BASSHEADS AND RAGGAMUFFIN CREW! 

What better way to spend the solstice than a camp-out at the fabulous Billabong, under the stars with a raging fire and a mad line up of exceptional artists to blow your musical kundalini into the orgasmosphere! 

Europe's leading dancehall queen Soom T will be headlining our 2018 event, alongside Oz dub stars Kingfisha, Byron's Oren Selecta (4'20 Sound), Brisbane's MadTones, Melbourne's Kodiak Kid, Auramechanic and Lickweed. The Far North's own Tropical Fyah, Koahlition, Djinnah, Sister Liberty, Savidas, Secret Tuesdays, Sunny Ray, WHichway, Mustaphaa, Manipulated Molecule and Elementary Hifi will be amongst the many representing the vibrant local scene.

Kuranda Roots is an all ages music and culture festival held annually in the bohemian hill town of Kuranda. Enjoy dozens of reggae, soul and roots bands, a mad selection of dub, jungle and bass music selectas, cutting edge producers, traditional dance groups and cultural workshops in the beautiful rainforest gardens of the Billabong in the wet tropics of North Queensland.

ACCOMMODATION - Ticket includes one night camping at the Billabong. There are toilet and shower facilities. 

There's also plenty of food and drink stalls inside the festival and a regular shuttle bus into the village.
