Kuranda Roots Music & Arts Campout

The makers of Island Vibe and Bushweek Festivals combine to co-create a week of unforgettable experiences. Nestled by the shimmering waters of Far North Qld’s crystalline Emerald Creek, Kuranda Roots and Bushweek combine forces to present a range of art and craft workshops, bodywork, yoga, open mic sessions and an exciting music program.

Arrive early from the 15th for the Camp-Out and enjoy the lifestyle and creative workshops, or simply enjoy the stunning natural environment. Kuranda Roots-now in its 23rd year- will commence from the 18th in full festival mode and feature an eclectic reggae, soul and world music program. The theme this year is creative collaboration, and the program will hold space for more spontaneous jams and play.

Kuranda Roots is family friendly, and we encourage a drug and alcohol free space. Kanjini is a nature reserve so unfortunately you must leave your furry family members at home.

We will have food and drink vendors catering to most dietary types, an art gallery and a craft village.

We encourage you to join us for the whole week, but we will have weekend tickets available as well as Saturday and Sunday passes.
