Laphroaig ~ Whisky & Cheese Edition

The award winning family of Laphroaig Whiskies ranges from the rich, pungent 10 Year Old to the smooth and exceptionally rare 32 Year Old. There can’t be anything more decadent than a dram of Laphroaig. But did you know some simple food pairings, like cheese, can bring out the flavour even more! Join Bill Bewsher, local Laphroaig whisky ambassador, for a tasting masterclass on Laphroaig's best at Helvetica Bar.

Laphroaig may seem a little aloof at first, but make the effort, broach acquaintance and we can guarantee you’ll have a warm and genuine friend for life. Take it neat or with a splash of soft water. Roll it around on your tongue. Release the pungent, earthy aroma of the blue peat smoke, the sweet nuttiness of the barley and the heathery perfume of Islay’s streams.

This special event is not to be missed. Guests will be seated in the Lounge where you will be greeted with a cocktail on arrival. Once settled, we will dive right in to the very best Laphroaig has to offer, each tasting matched expertly to fine cheese.
