Soul Has No Tempo presents LeFtO (BE) + Sampology

Soul Has No Tempo are proud to present Belgian tastemaker and eclectic mixmaster, LeFtO in Brisbane for the very first time. One the most important tastemakers Europe has to offer and described by Fact! Magazine as "your favourite dj's favourite dj", LeFtO regularly rocks sound systems from Tokyo to L.A, New York to Kazakhstan, San Francisco to Singapore. Affiliated with Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings, Blue Note, Universal, Heavenly Sweetness and BBE, the Belgian-bearded Hip Hop stalwart is famed for his gloriously eclectic DJ sets, switching effortlessly between hip-hop, funk, breaks, South-American influences and primal African rhythms. With his weekly award-winning national radio show on Studio Brussels boasting 645 episodes and growing, be prepared for a diverse journey through genres.

Joining LeFtO on this heavy lineup is Brisbane local legend, and pioneer of audio visual performance, Sampology. A master in creating multi-sensory, high octane landscapes from sound, Sampology will be bringing the heat to the dance floor with his world famous DJ sets where he draws from percussive rhythms and tropical, Afro influences.

Local support sets will be provided by hometown heroes Gavin Boyd (Soul Has No Tempo) and Alex Intas (A Love Supreme), both of whom are renowned for their meticulous taste and passion to help build and support the local music community.
