The City of Joondalup is offering young people aged 11 - 18 years the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops that focuses on growing a healthy mindset, learning the art of mindfulness, emotional regulation and identifying inner strengths through the use of art and other creative tools.

During the workshops you will learn: 

• Mindfulness techniques using clay


• How to identify your inner strengths working with watercolours


• How to tackle challenges using different drawing techniques


• The art of speaking and conversation through drawing and painting


• How to identify your leadership style style through sculpture making.

This is a great opportunity for those who want to be young leaders in their community and/or those beginning to think about their future and job aspirations.

Registrations are essential and spots are limited.

Registration, Entry Requirements and What to Bring:

Step 1 – BEFORE COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM BELOW: Ensure the participant is within the age range specified above prior to following the payment process. You will not be refunded if you incorrectly book for the wrong age.

Step 2 – Make sure the participant has completed the Youth Services Membership Form before completing the form below.

Step 3 – After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Your ticket - can be printed or displayed on a smart phone on arrival.

Cancellations:

A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. In the event of cancellations relating to weather, safety or unforeseen circumstances, fees may not be refundable.

There will be no refunds issued for non-attendance unless the City is advised two full working days prior to the activity date commencing along with presentation of a medical certificate.
