MARCH OF THE WOMEN

A celebration of diversity through the music of female composers who have historically been under-represented and under-performed. This concert features works from the 1800's through to the modern era by women of diverse cultural backgrounds. Through this concert, we draw a connection with the ongoing work being done, and that must continue to be done, to promote diversity in the legal industry.

Fanny Mendelssohn - Hiob Cantata
Ethel Smyth - Wreckers Overture
Michelle Nelson - Avance (Advance)
Ella Macens - Look Up the Sky Is Glowing
Chen Yi - Arirang; Mo Li Hua

Rosephanye Powell - The Promise Lives On
Margaret Sutherland - Outdoor Overture
Ethel Smyth - March of the Women

Conducted by Robert Dora and Ed Chan
