Samantha Dann’s country music roots run deep. Growing up in Alice Springs, she was surrounded by music through her grandmother, her father — acclaimed country singer Scott Dann — and her cousin, television presenter Troy Dann. Her debut single “Country Kinda Girl” was featured on Outback Adventures and earned her a place in the Tamworth Star Maker finals, paving the way for opportunities in Nashville. There, she collaborated with top songwriters, including the team behind Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” and performed on the iconic Music Row.
Her momentum was halted by personal loss and family priorities, leading her to step back from the spotlight to raise her daughter. Now, Samantha is making a much-anticipated return, teaming up with legendary U.S. guitarist and producer Louie Shelton to record three Nashville-penned tracks. Her comeback single “Whole Lotta Life” caught the attention of Stella Parton, who was so impressed she contributed backing vocals.
With her dynamic blend of pop, country, and rock — and a vibrant stage presence — Samantha Dann is set to reclaim her place on the international country music scene in 2025, ready to share her voice, passion, and energy with audiences worldwide.
