VenuesLive was appointed by the State Government as Operator of the Perth Stadium in June, 2016 and Mike McKenna commenced the role of Chief Executive Officer in November 2016.  The key responsibility for Mike and his team is the day-to-day management of the Stadium and the surrounding Park, ensuring that there is a substantial annual event calendar and the associated tourism opportunities are capitalised, bringing regional, national and international visitors to Perth and Western Australia. 

Ahead of the Stadium opening in early 2018, VenuesLive will be awarding over $20 million worth of supply contracts to support the operational needs of the venue.  The goods and services required are varied and provide opportunities for local businesses of all sizes, examples include – kitchen equipment, food and beverages to serve to the 60,000 fans on event days, casual labour, linen services, uniforms, safety equipment plus waste management and cleaning services.

Mike McKenna will share details on these supply packages including the process to register interest, provide an update on the latest progress of Perth Stadium plus an overview of the commercial partner opportunities.
