Building a Modern Day Media Relationship
How do we do this today? Both business and the media are time poor and it’s tough to form a relationship with anyone that doesn’t have the time to connect. But there are tools and tips to making contact with media, and understanding these can help you get the best possible results. With the right information and some time and effort, it’s still possible to make a strong connection and forge a meaningful relationship with your target media.
Right now, the media wants and needs you more than ever. Numbers in newsrooms across all mediums have diminished and they’re under more pressure than ever before to fill their platforms with quality, relevant and interesting content to feed the 24-hr news cycle.
There is an opportunity for all business owners to take control of their media and communications strategy. You need to step out of your comfort zone, put yourself in the mix and take ownership in your area of expertise. Knowing and understanding the pressures the media is under and how it operates in the current paradigm will help you achieve this.
Join us to hear from Ben Harvey, Group Business Editor, West Australian Newspapers and Nic Hayes, Managing Director, Media Stable as they discuss their media experience and share their expertise on building a modern day media relationship.
