On Saturday August 18, Melbourne City Wrestling celebrates 100 live events with the biggest event in company history. As part of the celebrations, for the first time ever, New Japan Pro Wrestling superstar Tetsuya Naito makes his debut on Australian soil!

Naito is not only a top tier professional wrestler (his past accolades include reigns as both the IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental Champion), but as the leader of the worldwide recognised faction Los Ingobernables de Japon, he has inspired fans all over the world to keep calm, and stay TRANQUILO!

His opponent is a man who is making his return to Melbourne City Wrestling for the first time in nearly a year – the former MCW triple crown champion, and a man who has been making a name for himself on a worldwide scale in 2018 – TMDK’s resident Monster, Jonah Rock!

In addition, a match which has been six months in the making will finally take place, as "The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay challenges "The Business" Slex for the MCW Intercommonwealth Championship! All this on top of a massive undercard, which will feature the best professional wrestlers from around Australia, and several more names who've carved out reputations on the world stage.

MCW 100 will be taking place on Saturday August 18, from the grand show court at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, located just 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Tickets for the event will be on sale via Ticketbooth, and the Melbourne City Wrestling website. The event will also be available on demand via MCW Encore. Stay tuned to the Melbourne City Wrestling Facebook page for all information.

Melbourne City Wrestling has been operating since October 2010, hosting monthly events every second Saturday of every month. The roster includes an impressive list of alumni talent such as Matt Silva (Buddy Murphy, WWE), Tenille Tayla (Emma, WWE), KC Cassidy (Peyton Royce, WWE), Evie (Dakota Kai, WWE), and Ryan Rollins (Australian Suicide, AAA).
