Event Description

As part of CCIWA's commitment to helping businesses work, we are providing a series of events on topics that our members have identified as being important to the sustainability of their business.

At our upcoming Member Connect with Auspire, Chief Executive Officer Morgen Lewis will share the latest insights around the social, cultural and economic benefits of diversity and inclusion for your business - the triple bottom line of diversity and inclusion.

For Australians to be confident in our future, it's important to ensure that all sections of society feel engaged, accepted and willing to contribute. As we become a more culturally diverse community, a strong sense of belonging to a national identity is critical. No matter where each of our personal stories began, we all have a role to play in building more socially and culturally inclusive communities.

About Auspire:

Auspire is an Incorporated Association founded in 1977 and part of the national family of eight State and Territory Australia Day Councils. Their vision is for Australia to be the most socially and culturally inclusive society in the world, where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging and desire to contribute.

Their purpose is to inspire active citizenship for an actively engaged and connected community with every Australian united, aligned to a common set of values and with the opportunity to contribute to our dynamic modern nation.

Their mission is to deliver programs and initiatives that allow us to reflect on our past, rejoice in the present and look confidently to our shared future as Australians. They service 90+ members across local government and corporate sectors, over 1,000 schools nationally (360, 000+ students). Over 1,000 workshop participants a year and tens of thousands of local community members exposed to their local Government and national awards programs.
