The Mentals are unstoppable, having notched up nearly 40 years of recording and non-stop touring, 25 top 40 hits in Australia, and sustained international airplay.

Touring Australia with their hits - “Live it Up”, “The Nips are Getting Bigger”, “You're So Strong”, “Too Many Times”, “If You Leave Me.....", "Just Like Romeo & Juliet" "I Didn't Mean to Be Mean," "Spirit Got Lost," "Date with Destiny" and featuring songs from their latest "5 Track EP"

Forty years of recording and touring and the show goes on. A fresh 5 track EP release titled “Mental as Anything – 5 Track EP” and a prime slot on the national Apia Good Times Tour sees Mentals rocketing into the future. The EP sees Greedy and Martin trading songs in their time-honoured tradition. Martin is currently off the road but Greedy and he are still creating new songs with that Mental Flavour.

Greedy: "Martin and I have spent our lives competing with songs. It's not stopping. He does his things his way and I do mine - the way it's always been and the competition continues."

DV8
Many bands germinated from the fertile late ‘70s and early ‘80s scene, but none reached the levels of popularity of DV8. Ask many a greying rock’n’roller around Newcastle and most will speak of DV8 with exalted praise.

For many they were the great Novocastrian band that never reached their potential. A band that should be listed among the city’s greatest rock exports, The Screaming Jets and Silverchair.

After all this was a band who regularly packed out Newcastle pubs like the infamous Star and Belair Hotels and the old Newcastle Workers Club, now Wests City, and toured with the likes of Midnight Oil and Cold Chisel.

The Herald's Scott Bevan said "For seven years Greg Bryce was the key to DV8, playing the roles of founding member, singer, guitarist and song-writer. Bryce was also the key to DV8's popularity in Newcastle . He not only wrote catchy songs that incorporated a variety of styles, he understood exactly what the average pub-goer was looking for in a band....an act that was low on pretence but big on energetic guitar-based rock."
