Event Description
'mi:wi' refers to the invisible ties we have to our past and future, people and land. Drawing on contemporary Indigenous dance techniques and the Ngarrindjeri cultural practice of weaving, this arresting dance work evokes the impact of climate change on the coastal communities and the importance of the passing on culture to future generations.
With one eye on the future and the other on the past, mi:wi sees three First Nations women intertwine their connection to country, ancestry, each other and their future in one powerful performance.
*Nunga tickets available at the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery at $15.00 each. ONLY 30 AVAILABLE.
