Neil Hawkins Walking Trail Competition

- Details
Join us for a self-guided walk through Neil Hawkins Park to discover some of the City’s fluffiest and slimiest animals and delightful native plants and trees. Learn about the importance of the City’s native tree species and the homes that they provide for the creatures living in Yellagonga Regional Park whilst being shaded by their canopy.
While you are strolling through the 1.1km trail, complete questions on your smartphone to go into the draw to win 1 of 5 Conservation Prize Packs! To participate in the competition, scan the QR code on the first Walking Trail sign, and answer the questions as you make your way through the trail.
The trail has been created to celebrate the importance of our local trees as part of the WA Tree Festival which runs from Saturday 6 April 2024 to Sunday 5 May 2024.
Do you have any little explorers joining you? Pick up one of our Nature Passports from your local City of Joondalup library and complete the Nature Safari along the trail!
This is a FREE event, registrations are not required.
