The NSW State Open Championships are Swimming NSW’s premier event and usually attracts an elite calibre of athletes such as members of the Australian Swim Team and International National Open teams.

The main aim of this meet is to offer a high quality competition for Open swimmers as a lead up to the National Age & Club Championships. The prestigious NSW State Open V.I.P Function is also held on the first night of competition with a number of VIP’s attending.
