The Gatsby-inspired party is intended to be a pre-fest warm-up for the official Blue Mountains Roaring ‘20s Festival which is hosted annually in February. The Festival’s regular features include the Charleston Challenge and Long Lunch at the Hydro Majestic, and the Carrington’s Annual Great Art Deco Ball. This year is a special year given it is the centenary of the original ‘20s American Prohibition which began on January 17, 1920, when the Volstead Act went into effect.
