Event Description

Divided by water, united by hockey.

The Oceania Cup is a major competition in the national competition schedule with the winner automatically qualifying for the 2018 Hockey World Cup; the Women’s World Cup to take place in London in July 2018 and the men’s to take place in India in November 2018. The competition which will run from 11 – 15 October will see the national men’s and women’s teams from Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea compete for the title.

Each nation will play each other in the pool rounds before the top two ranked nations face off in the gold medal match for the glory of the Oceania Cup title. With the addition of the newly introduced Hockey5s competition, the Oceania Cup will truly have something on offer for everyone to enjoy.
