Angel Flight Australia is a charity which coordinates non-emergency flights to assist country people to access specialist medical treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them because of vast distance and high travel costs.

  


Waltzing Matilda Centre Rebuild

 

The Waltzing Matilda Centre in Winton was destroyed by fire in the early hours of 18 June, 2015.  The centre is a tribute to Australia’s unofficial National Anthem which was penned on a station just outside of Winton by Banjo Paterson. An important visitor attraction for the tiny outback town of Winton, the rebuild is planned for 2017.
