Darshan Jesrani’s recording project “Metro Area” (together with partner Morgan Geist) has left an indelible mark on the dance music landscape. Known for its forward-looking, freestyle recombination of influences, Metro Area’s work revolves around experiments with classic production styles and the songwriting focus of disco, new-wave/synth-pop and R&B. Metro Area has injected much needed doses of funk, sensuality, mood and space back into the loop-based and seldom-subtle world of underground dance.

Having completed the first phase of his studio, which operates out of a commercial loft in Brooklyn, Darshan is preparing a battery of material for release on his new Startree imprint, produced and distributed exclusively by Word and Sound.
Darshan’s unique remixes for Permanent Vacation, Rekids, Escort and Mock & Toof, among others, have stood on their own as playable pieces of music, irrespective of the original works.

Darshan performs worldwide both as a solo DJ, and as a DJ and live PA together with Morgan Geist as Metro Area.

This style setting glamazonian princess otherwise known as DJ JNETT…. has for the last two decades, provided Australia's finer dance floors with an inimitable underground sound truly defying any categorization.
In any one set she seamlessly switches from dub to disco, house to hip hop, reggae to rock and then rides back throughthis galactic disco wormhole with a kid gloved finesse like no other.
Jnett is one of Melbourne's true DJ legends, she has seen it, heard it and played it all!She has been a permanent fixture on the Melbourne scene since it's early beginnings. Known for her legendary sets at purveyors, the original saratoga, el barrio, and revolver.with a current long standing residency at the Toff In Town.
Her most recent endeavour - as one half of the infamous Melbourne Strictly Vinyl crew. Together with partner Jimmy James, the duo have revitalised and kept the underground sound alive, and now have a list of legendary parties under their decks!!
Jnett has not only supported but blown away countless internationals with her musical taste, technical ability and unique approach to playing records.These include the likes of Theo Parrish, Maurice Fulton, Danny Krivit, Moodymann, Norman Cook, St.Germain, Doc Martin, Dizzee Rascal and lots more.
