Percussimo turns five in 2018!

Our special 5th year anniversary show, Quinquennium, joyfully plays around the theme of ‘five’ with unique renditions of classics such as Take 5 as well as some brand new surprise fusion and mash ups in interesting time signatures (Bach in 5 anyone?)

A time for reflection and gratitude, Quinquennium also features contemporary percussion works that resonate intimately with personal significance and pays tribute to Percussimo’s journey thus far.

Percussimo is a contemporary percussion ensemble that presents entertaining, engaging and interactive performances whilst showcasing the depth and multiple dimensions of the percussive arts. Proudly Queensland based, Percussimo features 7 hitting artists: Steve Stiller, Tina Liu, Jacob Cavanough, Kerrie-Anne Looi, Sophie Quinn, Lorraine Fung and Alice Emor-Kan.
