CANCELLED: Plastic Recycling Facility Tour

Ever wonder what happens to your hard plastic when dropped off for recycling?

Join us on a tour of CLAW Environmental's Plastic Recycling Facility to find out!

You will learn how different plastics can be processed and pelletised to then be manufactured into new recycled products. 

This is where plastic bottle lids, plant pots, storage tubs and other hard plastic items that cannot go in your yellow-top recycling bin can be processed for recycling after being taken to special drop-off locations (e.g. plastic lids to Containers for Change refund points).

Meet at the Cockburn Administration carpark, where the community bus will depart at 2:30pm. The bus will return by 4:30pm.

Please wear enclosed shoes and bring a drink bottle.
