Rag n’ Bone “A Handful Of Ash” album launch

Supported by Dream Rimmy, Hussy & Last Quokka

“Arguably the best band you’ve never heard of” - The Au Review

“...spanning a spectrum that ranges from breathtaking ballads to noise-heavy Post-Punk” – Rotunda Media

“These guys get better with each new song” – Nick Findlay, triple j

"Pissy Flow" is the new offering from Perth-based Rag n’ Bone, hot on the heels of the band’s recent triple j Unearthed slot at Western Australia’s first Falls Festival. The track is the opening punk-rock blast from their debut album “A Handful Of Ash”, out Friday, March 3. Produced by WA’s favourite recording genius Dave Parkin (Jebediah, Tired Lion) at Blackbird Studios, the album includes previous singles “I Don’t Feel At Home In This World Anymore” and “Last Kind Words” as part of Rag n’ Bone’s intense musical world which has reminded listeners of a diverse range of influences, from The Birthday Party to Savages, PJ Harvey to Midnight Oil.

The band shared their thoughts on the debut album: We wanted our first record to be a statement on love, loss, communication, family and the state of the current political landscape through a rock lens. It's our chance to let people know that we stand with them and support them, as well as a chance to drench everything in distortion, echo and ring modulation. "A Handful of Ash" encapsulates the experiences of our ferocious concerts and gives us a new avenues to explore - we're excited to share it.

The Rag n’ Bone live show has graced international festival slots at “Rock A La Buse” (Reunion island), Music Matters Live (Singapore) and Concrete & Grass (China), along with hometown performances at Falls Festival, State Of The Art, Hyperfest and the WAM Festival Block Party.  Following the band's four WAM Award nominations in November 2016, lead vocalist Kiera Owen recently won the Best Live Voice award at the WA branch of the National Live Music Awards.

“A Handful Of Ash” will be launched at Jack Rabbit Slim’s in Perth on Saturday, March 18, with special guests Dream Rimmy, Hussy & Last Quokka
