If you’re looking for a bush-doof party with roaring undertones of psy-trance, deep house and techno, set in a psychedelic Brunswick warehouse, then look no further. 

Set to kick-off at 7:30pm on October 23rd, Rising Sound will send you on a trip into an out of this world experience as you indulge in the sound of Australian bush-doof and its mystical allure, pulsating in the heart of Brunswick at the Rubix Warehouse.

From trippy visual art, a fully-stocked bar and a tranquil garden lounge, to a variety of market stalls, UV face painting and hula hoops, Rising Sound is offering up the perfect space to move your mind, body and soul. 

The night’s line-up is set to bring Melbourne DJ/Producers Positive Pete, Twisted-Molecule and Aminos KH, as well as upcoming local talents, Infinite Wax, Harmonic Sequence, CYAN and Adam Kinnear.

For too long the Australian doof has been concealed, buried deep in the bush. Now, aiming to promote the gradual uprising of an underground movement, the night will expose Melbourne to a journey unlike any other.

Aminos KH aka Amin Khaldi is a Psy-Trance and Minimal DJ/Producer based in Melbourne. From playing on the main stage at Earthcore last year to various Melbourne nightclubs including Wah Wah, Brown Alley, Korova and TFU, he has cemented himself as an established artist in the Melbourne electronic music scene. 

With a passion for exploring the realms of all things electronic, the possibilities of what you’ll hear in a Aminos KH set are endless. His ability to entertain a crowd has allowed him to move through various electronic genres seamlessly. With his Psy-Trance music career on the rise, Aminos KH gets to live out his dreams one psychedelic set at a time. 


TWISTED-MOLECULE

Born in Melbourne, raised between Australia and New Zealand, Twisted-Molecule is the Progessive/Psytrance project of Dan Salami AKA Manny Calavera. Dabbling in the harder styles of trance as a youngster, producing hard trance since 2006 under the moniker "The Organ Cleaners", Dan has stepped up to the plate with his brand of banging prog and full on psytrance.

Twisted Molecule began diddling at outdoor events starting with The ESKI Party Project in the culmination of 2011. Considering his hard dance influence you can expect high energy driving bass lines, trancey melodies and awesome breaks. Playing alongside acts such as; Coming Soon, Unseen Dimensions, Strange Planet, Harry Blotter, Raw Flo and more, his musical taste leave's nothing to be desired.


INFINITE WAX

Infinite WAX is an underground electronic DJ, whose passion lies in mixing a unique selection of Techno, House, Dubstep and Drum & Bass music. New Zealand born, he has grown up in a heavy bass orientated scene which ignited his deep love for all things sounding deep, raw and organic. 

A relative newcomer to the Melbourne scene, he has played at a selection of venues around town including Howler & 24moons bar for Bloom-Av. As well as appearing as a regular guest mixer on the Modern Hypnosis show on KISS FM. For him, it’s all about being locked in huge hypnotic unstoppable groove…keeping your body in motion. Harmonic Sequence is a Progressive Psy Trance/Psy Trance project started by Matthew Kellalea. With a love for electronic music that has continued to develop throughout his life, from the age of eleven when he found hardstyle to the age of fifteen when he discovered Psy Trance, Harmonic Sequence allows Matt to re-live his first experience with the love of everything Psychedelic over and over again. Matt is living out his dreams, creating his own music and performing to a variety of crowds throughout Victoria.

Cyan enjoys mixing and matching Full On, Twilight and Hitech to create an uplifting/high energy and theatrical atmosphere. Throwing in euphonic melodies and punchy baselines her sets will always tell a different story. Adam Kinnear is a Melbourne based deep and tech house DJ. Ever since attending strawberry fields festival in 2013, Adam has had a passion for all styles of music, focusing mainly on Tech and Deep house. With a sharp eye on the crowd and a diverse mixing style, Adam thrives to connect music lovers with deep melodic grooves along with driving bass lines. His passion for music continues to grow and Adam is happiest when performing.
