80s? You bet! We are rewinding 40 years to a time when music was rad and makeup was bad.

Headlining Splash Dance, Good Bike the “New Wave” extravaganza!

Sexy saxophone, Vintage synthesizers, gated drums, keytars, gl-amplifed guitar solos from the most talented musicians with rad hair and ridiculous on-stage antics.

Every time they grace the Rodney’s stage they whip the crowd into a frenzy of nostalgic 80s madness! They have been hard at work on their super-mega-to-the-MAX-NYE set! Expect to shake all the glitter off your body as they take you into the new decade!

Also on stage are Rodney’s aqua gods Mister & Sunbird! And they are getting glam-slam-glitter! with an 80s inspired set. They always get you moving and will pull out all the stops for this exclusive Mosman Vice event!

Dj Blind tiger is no stranger to the 1980s and he has so many 80s records he could play for a week, so he’ll be selecting a few classic and quintessential gems over many genres from the period, expect to prance at Splash Dance!

It wouldn’t be an 80s memory without throwing in a few classic arcade games, those days of mashing buttons at your local timezone will be re-lived with Rodney’s very own mini arcade alley complete with all you fave games and more!

Not that its compulsory you’ll feel like a bit of a dork if you go to a “Rewind to the 80s” event without dressing up. Shoulder pads, powers suits, leg-warmers, ripped jeans, crop-tops, flat-tops, high-cuts, winklepickers, fluro and fabulous. So many looks to CHOOSE from! And to sweeten the deal there will be some best dressed prizes. Don’t be neo-maxi-zoom-dweebie… dress up!

Our usual full bar and exceptional cocktails will be available all night and few light nibbles will be around too. A photo-booth will be set up to record your totally tubular outfits and bad to the bone hairstyles. And as always the famous Rodney’s midnight balloon drop will be happening.

Anyone that has been to a Rodney’s NYE event can testify that it’s an absolutely gnarly time, with rad vibes, sweet heads and the best times to the max! This year we will be levelling up!
