SailGP is sailing redefined. SailGP is an annual, global sports league featuring bold, cutting-edge technology and awe-inspiring athleticism. The fan-centric, inshore racing takes place in some of the mosticonic harbours around the globe, starting with Sydney on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 February 2019.

Sydney SailGP will showcase the best Sydney Harbour has to offer, with a range of on- and off-water options for spectators to watch rival national teams battle it out in identical supercharged F50 catamarans, engineered for intense racing at electrifying speeds exceeding 50 knots (nearly 100km/h).

Bringing with them 40+ years of experience in cruising Sydney Harbour, Captain Cook Cruises have designed exclusive SailGP Official Spectator Boat experiences to cater for individuals and families.  Official Spectator Boats have an exclusive position inside of the exclusion zone, plus live TV coverage on board. Ticket types include self-cater options and premium on-board dining.

SailGP Club Pass: Get on board the stunning Sydney 2000, Sydney Harbour’s premier cruising vessel and will be situated in a preferred viewing position on the race course perimeter. This world class vessel has four viewing decks to choose from, including the open top deck, so there’s no better place on the water to watch the racing action. Enjoy a delicious standing buffet, premium beer, wine and soft drinks while you take in all the thrills of Sydney SailGP.

SailGP Fan Pass: The Fan Pass brings you close to the racing action. Perfect for families and groups, Fan Pass ticket holders will have a preferred viewing position on the race course perimeter, plus the opportunity to bring their own snacks with drinks available for purchase.

On Friday 15 February, the Official Spectator Boats depart King St Wharf No.1 at 2:45pm and return approx. 7:00pm

On Saturday 16 February, the Official Spectator Boats depart King St Wharf No.1 at 1:45pm and return approx. 6:00pm.
