Every two years Seafood Directions brings together hundreds of seafood enthusiast from across the country to champion Australian seafood.

We invite you to spend a few days (October 9-11) in the 2019 host city, and Australia’s foodie capital, Melbourne.

Join the primary producers, transporters, retailers, educators, policy makers, fish and chip shop owners, restaurateurs and chefs who work together to put Australian seafood on our plate.

Learn from global trailblazers who are embracing change and moving our industry forward. Dine in some of Melbourne’s best seafood restaurants. Hear from experts covering everything from sustainability research, financial support, storage innovations, tech developments and more.

Our vision for Seafood Directions in 2019 is to create a unified community that values and celebrates Australian seafood.

For the first time, Seafood Directions will open its doors to the broader public. A Celebration of Australian Seafood, our 2019 theme, aims to capture the spirit in which will build upon our robust industry to welcome in a broader community of Australian seafood ambassadors.

The development of the 2019 conference will be carried out by Seafood Industry Victoria in support of steering committee of 12 committed individuals who represent the full spectrum of Australia’s seafood industry. We are primary producers, retailers, fisheries managers, writers and government representatives.
