Secret Sounds is back in 2025 with their Summer Series of 3 Underground parties with a mixed bag of musical styles and artists.
We kick it off with one of Melbourne's veteran of underground parties Lani G.
 Known for her infamous Ufp-Madasss warehouse parties, and smouldering sets. Lani has been a pioneer on the Australian underground scene for 20+ years. Starting out playing techno, gabba, house, garage and trance. Lani only now feels she has truly solidified her sound with a sharp, deep and dark style in all of those genres, although her gabba has morphed into a more palatable version of techno i.e. Kettema & Jerb. Having worked tirelessly over the last 3 decades, Lani is now revered as the “Melbourne Rave Queen”. )Quote: per Mad Rod/Filter/Lounge, circa. 1998. Supporting acts such as: Phil Hartnoll (Orbital) Paul Mac Stacey Pullen Kiko Shakta Dj ESP (Woody McBride) Mike Dearborn Dj Misjah Independently releasing Hung Up (2014) and her own take on the massive Emmanuel Top anthem, Turkish Bazar (2018). Currently producing on her Roland Phantom 88. Lani’s own productions cannot be boxed in. Playing all over Australia, in Asia and Europe. NDSM (Amsterdam), Kyma (Thailand), Family (Brisbane), Earthcore (Vic), Strawberry Fields (N.S.W.), XE54 (Melb) to name a few. Lani also plays under the guise of Lux with her live vocal show. Incorporating choreography, dancers, visuals and costumes. This first lady of live vocal and djing drops original lyrics over her own original tracks, and other producer’s tracks. Creating an extension of the underground sound she is known for.
