Beginning with Salieri's La Folia Variations, this a masterful work explores the traditional and familiar La Folia as it takes you on a thrilling journey through a diverse range of moods and styles, from the tranquil to the exuberant while featuring the virtuosic skills of the WPO Concert Master, Rob Nijs.

Serenade to Music by English composer, Vaughan Williams is a lush and lyrical work that celebrates the power of music to move the soul. This piece is a true feast for the ears, with soaring melodies and sumptuous harmonies that will transport you to a place of pure beauty and serenity.

The program concludes with Bruch's romantic and majestic Symphony 1, a work that is at once dramatic and uplifting. This sweeping symphony showcases Bruch's compositional genius.
