Tomás Ford's Crap Music Rave Party has become an institution at Edinburgh Fringe and fesitvals around Australia, the UK & New Zealand. The party mixes up hyperactive fun, DIY disco lights, terrible rave videos, glowsticks and a simple rule: request any song so long as it's crap, and we'll dance to it all night.
Think S Club 7, D.I.S.C.O, Take That, 2 Unlimited, “soulful” yacht rock, your Dad’s road trip jamz, happy hardcore, Eurovision nightmares, Justin Bieber, glowsticks, yacht rock smoothness, white-boy reggae, trance remixes of Enrique Iglesias, skate park dubstep, 80’s movie themes, breakdance battles, your aunty’s disco collection, riotous hair metal, mouldy new jack swing records, unnameable boy bands, hands in the air, anything could happen!
In March, Tomás thought he'd add rollerskating to the mix for a party at the Urban Roller Club and people went NUTS for it. So much so that we're doign it again for one night only at Rollerzone in Malaga on Friday July 15 from 7-10pm.
Since you can only have so many people rollerskating at once, tickets are strictly limited. If you need to hire skates, make sure you book a ticket with skate hire included as these will be limited on the night, otherwise you can BYO or come hit the dancefloor without skating.
Note: The snack bar will be open but this is an alcohol-free event (because Rollerskates).
