The Event:

The weekend is a beautiful blend of all the right ingredients: a safe, nurturing environment, great women, meetings, nature, lots of laughter and simple pleasures.

The AA Women’s Retreat offers a 12 Step programme and unity within a sober female community, to help navigate through life’s challenges and transitions, supporting every woman on her ultimate journey to a vibrant, happy, meaningful and joyful life.

When: Friday 16- Sunday 18 November 2018

Cost: $170 (all meals included from Friday dinner to Sunday morning tea)

Full registration includes:-

Two (2) nights shared accommodation 

• All meals including dinner on Friday night to morning tea on Sunday.


• AA meetings  and Al-anon meetings.


• Use of all facilities including canoes, swimming pool, wading pool, diving pool, water slides, sauna, Bush walking tracks, table tennis and much more.


• Saturday night entertainment, aqua aerobics, yoga and a lovely meditation room set up by our committee.

The Venue:

Just 110 kms north of Brisbane, the centre is located in the mountain top village of Mapleton, atop the beautiful Blackall Range, within easy reach of many Sunshine Coast and hinterland attractions.

The breathtaking rainforest setting, combined with the comfortable accommodation makes Mapleton an ideal location for the retreat.

Linen:

No linen is included so please bring your own bedding, pillows, bath and beach towels, blankets and sheets or sleeping bag. It can get cold at night.

OR

Linen can be hired at a fee of $30  (2xsheets, 1pillow and pillow case,1 blanket and 1 bath towel)  this does not include a beach towel.

Special Dietry Needs:

QCCC Mapleton can accommodate members if you have an allergy, medical condition, or special dietary requirement at no extra charge. Please note lifestyle choice diets (ie paleo sports diets etc) will not be catered for. When registering please fill in special dietary requirements. Please email Kerry regarding specific medical or allergy conditions if you cannot select your dietary requirement in the options when registering.

Accommodation is shared so if you would like to share a room with another member please email [email protected] we will do our best to accomodate you. If you have a medical condition please email the committee.

Terms and Conditions:

No refunds.  Bookings may be transferred  to another member via an email request to sobsismail@gmail.com. A confirmation email will be sent confirming changes.  No transfers after 31/10/2018.  All attendees must be registered to attend the event it is a requirement by the centre.
