Social Club Annual Tournament: Bowling Night 2024

We are excited to invite you to an evening of bowling, arcade games, great food and drinks with your fellow Social Club members. 

Timeline:

• 5:30pm - 5:40PM: Arrivals


• 5:40pm - 6:40pm: Bowling, 2-hour bar tab and food service.


• 6:40pm - 7:40pm: Winners announced - Bar tab and food service continues, arcade games available.

Important details (Read before purchase):

1. Please make sure you are prepared to arrive as close to 5:30pm as you can if you plan to participate in the bowling portion of our event. Time will be needed to register, get shoes and make your way to the area before a 5:40PM game commencement.


2. Team sizes are currently forecast to be of 6 per lane. That said, we are all here to have fun - if there is not enough room on your team for some extra people you'd like to join you, you are welcome to sub people in and out to take 1 of 6 bowling turns each round. To be clear: we won't be requiring you to stick to 1 person per name on the screen if you have more than 6 in attendance.


3. The winning team will be determined by the total score divided into the number of players (note: if you have more than 6 players because of the point above, you will not be at any disadvantage as the maximum divider will be 6) The highest score after being divided by up to 6 wins the night! To be clear: if your team has 5 people on it and the total combined score achieved by everyone on the team is 350, the teams end score will be (350/5) = 70, if your team has 8 people on it and your total score is 430, the teams end score will be (430/6) = 71.66. In this scenario the second team wins.


4. You must fill your names out at the spreadsheet found at this link (only available to CCIWA staff who have access to the intranet) 20240930_Bowling teams.xlsx (sharepoint.com) this will be used to plan the teams and determine if additional space is required.


5. For a period of 2 hours, there will be complimentary access to drinks via bar service - this does not include spirits. There is no bar tab limit or number of drinks per person. We will provide plenty of food across the duration of the event, but we remind you that this event is covered by CCIWA's Professional Behaviour Policy and you are responsible for ensuring that both you and any guests you bring who are external to CCIWA, drink and behave responsibily for the full duration of the event.
